Welcome!

I am excited to start a family blog.  I remember a few years ago Lynn being appalled that I did not know what a blog was.  Oh my....and hear I am with daughters who seem to know more than I do!!!!  Tonight in the car the girls were listening to a song and Elliana and Madeline were arguing about one word they heard...was it "faithful" or "facebook."  They don't hear facebook in our home!!

I hope you are enjoying Christmas time.  We are counting down each day.  Elliana and Madeline each have a chart up in their bedroom that they add a sticker to each day.  We read 1 or 2 verses from the Bible about the Christmas story.  Then they get to add "feet stickers" as they help Mary and Joseph follow the path to Bethlehem and the stable.  It's a very tangible way for them to see Christmas approaching.  They get soooo excited to do their stickers and we get to have a couple minute blurp focused on the Bible and Jesus each day.

With that said, Madeline is all about Baby Jesus.  She loves to talked about Baby Jesus, color Baby Jesus, and sing about Baby Jesus.  Elliana is all about organizing her stuff which means she tries to fit as much into her allowed draw in her room as possible.  I tease Abigail about "have chair, will travel."  She doesn't walk yet but has learned to efficiently take a plastic kids chair around the house and get up high and see what she wants to.  It is quite entertaining and adds more things for her hands to reach.
