Violet~our precious baby girl

I am so excited to share that Violet Mercy Wolters has arrived!!!  Delivery went well and I am recovering quickly.  My parents took Elliana, Madeline, and Abigail home to Wisconsin the day I got home from the hospital for 4 days!  Wow!  I have rested when I need to and been able to enjoy Violet and go out with Lynn a couple nights!

Mom and Dad.....THANK YOU !!!!!!

The girls were very excited for "Baby Bear" to arrive and thoroughly enjoyed her the little they have seen her so far.  Elliana could sit and hold her for a long time.  Madeline smiles and smiles.  Abigail likes to point and say, "Baby, Baby!"

Lynn and I love the feel of Violet in our arms...she is so little compared to the others of course, yet not fragile in our arms.  She is quite strong and shows her eyes for a few minutes and then is back to sleep.

Arriving home to all the sisters!

Lynn is very proud of Violet and all his girls, no matter how much he teases about being the only "boy" in the house!

When will she come?

I had another weekly Dr. appt today and I am 3cm dilated and she is 75-80% efaced!!  This is what I've heard in the past with the others...but this has meant a baby soon!  I'm thinking in the next couple days....which would be logical because she is due on Monday.

Soon we'll meet her!!!!!

Baby Bear....soon to be called.....

Graduation!!

This past year I taught two HS math classes at a homeschool coop each Tuesday.  The girls all came along.  Elliana was in kindergarten, Madeline was in preschool, and Abigail was in the nursery there.  The last day of school Lynn came along and was able to watch E and M "graduate" (kind of cute) in a ceremony.  I love their hats!

Cheering Lynn on...softball season!

Lynn is playing softball with our church softball team again this year.  We all enjoy going along being outside, chatting with the other gals, and trying to see some of the game!  Lynn is the catcher and had two great hits this week.  He likes being part of the team and the guys.

Madeline Grace is 4 years old!!

May 12, 2007 Madeline was born!!!

We all had fun looking forward to and celebrating Madeline's 4th birthday.  Oh my precious Maddie.  I keep asking her and Elliana if they could stop growing for a while....they insist they can't!!  I treasure these times and the memories are priceless.

We have learned this past year that Madeline is definitely a snuggler and needs to have her "tummy time" with Daddy as many evenings after supper as possible.  Her love language may be touch!  She is tender and likes her cuddly things.  She loves babies and even named her bear "Baby Bear."  She is working on not squealing when not getting her way.  She has learned how to include Abigail when playing and so now she really has two playmates...Elliana and Abigail.  She knows which thumb to suck because of the "dot" on her left thumb :-)  Madeline loves that Daddy's name is in her name...MadeLINE.

Mother's Day

I wish I could take time right now to think through and record all the wonderful things about being a mother.  I absolutely LOVE being a mom.  I would not trade my role as a mom for anything in the world.  There are moments that are hard or trying.  But working through those things and learning to be a better mom is part of what makes it so wonderful to be a mom.  There is also the fresh new look at the world through my girls eyes.  It makes me more thankful to the Lord.  Also it pushes me to constantly become more Godly.  Elliana wants to tell others (in particular the church near our house!!) about Jesus.  So we are going to make that happen with a recent idea I got.

Anyways we took pictures before we went to church today and Lynn bought me my fave Caribou drink on the way to church!

We LOVE to be outside!!

We spent the whole day outside...only naptime was inside!!!

In the morning Lynn rototilled my veggie garden in back of our house.  Then he actually took it to the front to lift up and do my flower garden!  Before that Elliana got her garden gloves, garden rake, and bucket and wanted to pull some weeds for me!  I actually went and bought my flowers in the afternoon and planted them!!  I'm so excited to have that done and be able to enjoy them for the summer!

The girls got SO DIRTY!!!!  Abigail especially dug in and enjoyed the mud.  E and M got so excited when they starting finding worms where some water puddled up after having the outdoor faucet on!  I love seeing their joy over worms!!!

Abigail's chipped tooth :-(

Abigail was on Elliana's bed one morning this week.  Madeline supposedly was trying to give her a piggy back ride.  That's when things went bad!!!  Abigail some how took a fall that chipped her front tooth....oh the sadness of a mother to realize that.  She cried immediately of course but there was no blood and I really didn't know exactly where she got hurt.  A couple hours later I got a glance and was shocked.  So I guess I think it was from this fall....hmmmmm.  We asked our dentist about it about it but there really isn't anything to do but make sure her tooth isn't sensitive.

Elliana News!

Elliana lost her first tooth this week!  She was so excited!
It was one of her two first teeth...my 'baby" is growing up.  We told her the toothfairy would come.  "Well, Mom who is the tooth fairy...you or Dad?"
No fooling this girl :-)
Madeline decided it was supposed to be me because fairies aren't supposed to be boys!

Kramer Family Photo Shoot

So it's a lot of work and crazy moments of trying to get this many people including kids in pictures of all types!!  But we did it...crying or not!!

When Abigail and Julia are together people think they are twins!  Well they only 12 days apart!
